Chris De La Rosa

Acquisition Analyst

A first-generation American (parents are both from the Dominican Republic) and former professional athlete who grew up around affordable housing, Chris brings a unique perspective to attainable housing real estate development. A proud product of Washington Heights, in upper Manhattan, Chris was a Division I scholarship basketball player who excelled on the court and in the classroom. Upon graduation, Chris became an eight-year professional basketball player and real estate entrepreneur.

At Tredway, Chris is an Acquisitions Analyst focused on sourcing, initial underwriting of deals and maintaining and forming relationships with current and future Tredway partners, especially within the public/private arena.

Chris graduated from the University of Maryland-Baltimore County (UMBC), where he was a two-year captain and two-time MVP of the basketball team and the recipient of the prestigious Student-Athlete Academic Achievement Award. Chris is an Alum to New Heights Youth, where he met Tredway’s founder Will Blodgett, who is on the board. Chris is currently an advisor to New Heights where he works with their directors and student-athletes on their own path forward. He is also a consultant to nationally prominent grassroots programs, Div. 1 universities and NBA franchises.
